45 & 50 Single-Ended
Low-power directly heated triodes for very sensitive speakers. Clear, quiet and fast.
Some of the most beautiful sound we have heard comes from the smallest tubes. A 45 gives about 2 watts and a 50 around 4, which is plenty with horn or full-range speakers. Our 45 amps use a 45 to drive a 45 with Tamura transformers all the way, and a mercury-vapour rectifier with a damper tube for a slow, gentle start. We build them as stereo amps, vertical monoblocks or with separate rectifier stages for driver and output. Recent units have shipped to California and Australia.
