Our story

Vintage soul, modern reliability

Soundaries began as two friends who loved old audio more than was sensible. We travelled to Tokyo's Vacuum Tube Audio Fair, the Japan Triode Meeting and the Lenco Heaven gathering in Belgium, and came home with notebooks full of circuits and a shelf of rare tubes.

Today we build what we learned. We study the masters, from Western Electric to Susumu Sakuma, and we ask them questions when we can: our two-stage 300B monoblocks were built with advice from Bruce Berman himself. Then we make the circuit quieter, safer and easier to live with, using modern regulation and hand-picked parts.

Each chassis is drawn in 3D, machined, powder-coated and set into a frame of Thai hardwood. If you like, we sign it with a short Pali blessing that only a Thai workshop would think to add.

What goes inside

LCR preamplifier showing Tamura and ISO/Tango transformers

Japanese transformers

The transformer shapes the sound more than any other part. We design our own custom transformers, wound in Thailand, and use the Japanese makers we trust most for upgrades. We are also the authorized ISO distributor in Thailand.

Tubes with a story

We keep a stock of new-old-stock tubes and use classic rectifiers where they sound best, including the blue glow of mercury vapour.
