Field-coil speakers need a steady DC supply for their magnets. We build tube-rectified supplies, including mercury-vapour and Tungar designs, and adjustable supplies such as the one for Atelier Rullit drivers. We also built a tube supply for a WE 555 system with field-coil tweeters.
