DHT Line Preamplifier
A line preamp built on directly heated triodes such as the #31, with an autoformer volume.
A directly heated triode has the simplest possible path from heater to plate, and many listeners hear it as the most natural-sounding tube. Our DHT preamps use the #31 or 26, Tentlabs filament supplies and a 47-step autoformer volume control from Intact Audio. The power supply sits in its own chassis with ISO/Tango transformers.

Panels are cut, drilled and engraved here, and the frame is made from Thai hardwood.

Every joint is wired and soldered by hand, point to point. You get photos as it comes together.
